Test

Test post...

3rd Birthday. #pulleditoff

Well another birthday in the books!  This time for my baby B.

I was worried it would be a bust because this weekend was the first cold weekend of the year. It was the first FREEZE warning of the year!!

He wanted a bouncy with a slide. That's all he had talked about...
and then the cold set in and the 20 mph winds came....and we had to cancel......

I don't think he cared at all!

He had his friends and gifts and cake!

Didn't my mom do an awesome job on the cake?!  She always does so good!! She has way more patience with things like this.

After the party, he told me it was the best birthday ever!  Mom win!

Thanks to everyone who came and who loves my baby!  We are so thankful for friends and family!  We are blessed to have a huge family and so many friends that are just like family in our lives!

Here's to the next birthday!

July....so far

I can't believe it's already July!  Oh. Emmm. Geeee. That means school is right around the corner. Not cool. It seems like we just finished last school year!  Although, I'm ready to meet my new cuties, I'm not ready to give up my summer! Let's enjoy the rest of it while we can!!

So here's what's been going on so far in July.

We started off the month with a bang!! 💥 literally. With a 4th of July celebration.

This year we didn't make it to any water so we celebrated at a friend's house.  We cooked, shot fireworks, the kids played, and the adults reminisced. It was a good night!

Good times!

Ky has been taking swimming lessons. She is doing so good!  She has been terrified of the deep end, but now can swim a bit in the deep end!

I may or may not have used a little parent bribery....

If she swam in the deep end, K could spend the night.

Hey, it worked!

Love these two!

Glad for the summer off to make memories like these with my babies!

Post to TPT

So I created something for my 1st grade classroom and decided to share on Teachers Pay Teachers.  Maybe someone out there will want it, too! lol

Visit my TPT store here!

I made flashcards for all of the words we cover in 1st grade!  Plus, they each have a sentence to go with each!  I plan to use these during Reading Clubs so my students can become fluent readers!  I am so excited!!  I am about to print and laminate now!!

Hope you enjoy it, too!

Softball Princess

Never would have thought that my princess would be playing softball.

And she was pretty good at it!  Good enough to make All Stars!  We were so excited since it was her first year playing And we had to make her play!! Once she started playing, she looked forward to it!

Her All Star team didn't win it all, but they were there til the end!  They tied with another county team for 3rd place. Pretty awesome!

Way to go girls!  You are awesome!!

Very First Sleepover {away from home}

So last Sunday, my baby girl grew up a little more.

She had her very first sleepover away from home!

It was with her very best friend, Karoline.

They have been friends since the day they were born because her mom is my very best friend!  We grew up together and have stuck it out for so many years!

I love how our kids are so close and we are too!!

So the girls had their sleepover and went to see a movie for K's 6th birthday. They saw Inside Out, which I've heard a lot about!  They played in the sand, dressed up, had a dance party, and much more!  Ky said it was a blast and couldn't wait to do it again!

I hope they stay friends forever!!!!

Back to Blogger!!

Hopefully I can remember to post often.

I have been making Ky read and write this summer and I told her about my blog.  I told her that instead of writing it down on paper, I put it on the computer.  I tried to explain to her that writing can be fun and to always write about something she liked.  But, my hard headed daughter, who is just like her daddy, didn't see it that way! =)

Maybe one day she'll enjoy it!
