St. Louis Trip 2015

We just got back from a trip to the Lou. We haven't been in almost 3 years, I think. We were due....overdue.

I love St. Louis. I usually don't like the big city life, but I do love St. Louis.
We've seen the Arch a thousand times, toured the Brewery just as much, eaten Ted Drewes every single time we visit, and sat in Busch Statium at least every other time we've visited. But it never. ever. gets old.

This time, we did all of the above, but the Brewery. We had the kids with us and I didn't figure they would enjoy the tour as much as we did!  If you've Never been, it's where they make beer. You tour. They tell you all about how to make it. Show you all the different kinds they make. Then finally at the end, you get to sample it!  Any kind you want. For free. Yep. Free!

So instead of that, we chose the City Museum, the zoo, and a Cards game!

The City Museum was pretty cool!  It's pretty much an oversized playground, but for all ages!  It has slides, a ball pit, a train, and lots more!  If you don't want to climb or slide, don't go!

The kids had a great time and I got a workout!  It was a win-win.

The Zoo was great, too. If you've never been, you should go. It's FREE to get in and huge!

Now on to Ted Drewes!

Absolute ❤️.

This was B's first time and he loved it too!!

He had the Cookie Dough (an awesome choice) and so did Ky. I had the Dutchman (chocolate, caramel, and pecans)!  The!!  The hubs is plain....he got just regular ole chocolate. Boring, but delish!

I would say it was a hit! We may or may not have went there twice!

On our last day there we planned on going to a Cardinals game, but the weather didn't want to cooperate. It rained it out!

It started with just a rain delay so the kids did get to see the inside of the stadium. I was really disappointed because they were so excited for a game.

But hopefully we can attend the make up game.

Over all, it was a great trip to a great place with great company!  I can't wait til our next visit!
